Lotwise Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 September 2026 · Version: 2026-09-v1

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Lotwise software service. By creating an account or using Lotwise, you agree to these Terms.

Lotwise is primarily designed for businesses, professional traders and trading-card vendors. Individual adult collectors may also use the service. If you use Lotwise as a consumer, nothing in these Terms removes statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

1. About Lotwise

Lotwise is software for managing collectible and trading-card inventory, recording purchases, sales and trades, keeping related operational records, using Show Mode, viewing business analytics, and synchronising information across authorised devices.

Lotwise is provided by LotwiseCollects Ltd (“Lotwise”, “we”, “us”). LotwiseCollects Ltd is a UK private limited company (company number 17419225). Registered office: 31 The Rise, Borehamwood, United Kingdom, WD6 3JR.

Our primary public website is https://lotwisecollects.com. The Lotwise application web service is https://app.lotwisecollects.com. Contact for notices: scott@lotwisecollects.com.

2. Who may use the service

To create or hold a Lotwise account you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into these Terms. Lotwise is not designed for children.

You do not need to be a registered company to use Lotwise. If you act on behalf of a company, business or other organisation, you must have authority to bind that organisation.

You must provide accurate information when you apply for or use an account, and keep that information up to date.

You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and for activity carried out under your account, including access granted to authorised team members.

3. Accounts and approval

Registration does not automatically guarantee access to Lotwise. Lotwise may require account review and approval before workspace access is activated.

Until an account is approved and active, access to operational workspace features may be limited or unavailable. Lotwise may refuse, delay, or condition approval where reasonably necessary to operate the service securely and fairly.

4. The Lotwise service

The current Store V1 release is intended to provide account and workspace management, inventory management, recording of Buy, Sell and Trade transactions, stock and cash adjustments where those tools are available to your account, Show Mode, user and business analytics, catalogue lookup, informational market guides where enabled, and device/cloud synchronisation.

The current Store V1 release does not include card-scanning, on-device card recognition, AI image recognition, or Point & Price sold-comp valuations. Features that are disabled for your account, or not enabled for the current release, are not part of the service you receive during that period.

Lotwise may introduce additional features through subsequent app or service updates, including optional card-recognition, pricing or image-processing functionality. Where a new feature is introduced, its availability will be described in the product at the time.

Features may differ between web and mobile clients.

5. Inventory and transaction records

You are responsible for the information you enter into Lotwise, including inventory details, costs, quantities, transaction values, and business profile information.

You remain responsible for validating transaction values and for maintaining any underlying business, accounting, or tax records required for your organisation or personal use.

Lotwise assists with operational record-keeping but does not replace your own bookkeeping, accounting, or compliance processes. Customer-entered information remains your responsibility.

6. Catalogue, analytics and market information

Catalogue information, informational market guides, analytics outputs and similar figures shown in Lotwise may contain errors, delays or omissions.

They are not financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, guaranteed valuations, or guaranteed resale values. Market prices can change, and Lotwise does not guarantee that any card or item will sell at a displayed amount.

You remain responsible for your buying, selling, pricing, trading, accounting and other commercial decisions. You should apply your own judgement before relying on information shown in Lotwise.

7. Analytics

Business analytics and reports depend on the accuracy and completeness of the records you and your team enter. Incomplete, delayed, or incorrect entries may produce incomplete or misleading analytics.

8. Customer data and content

You retain ownership of the underlying business and operational information you add to Lotwise, including inventory, transaction information, business profile details, uploaded business logos, and other customer-supplied content (“Customer Content”).

Ownership of Customer Content does not transfer to Lotwise merely because it is stored or processed by the service.

You grant Lotwise a limited licence to host, store, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use Customer Content solely as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the Lotwise service, and to comply with law.

9. Acceptable use

You must use Lotwise lawfully. You must not: use Lotwise for illegal activity; attempt unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or data; attack or overload infrastructure; distribute malware; circumvent security or access controls; scrape or harvest data where prohibited; interfere with other customers’ use of the service; abuse APIs; or engage in fraudulent activity.

These restrictions are not intended to prevent ordinary legitimate use of the service.

We may investigate suspected misuse and take reasonable steps to protect the service and other users.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Lotwise available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, outages, infrastructure failures, third-party failures, security interventions, or factors outside our reasonable control. Software can contain defects.

We may update functionality over time. Where a change materially affects your use of the service under these Terms, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice where practicable.

11. Fees and future paid plans

Store V1 is currently available without a paid in-app subscription. You are not charged merely because this section exists.

LotwiseCollects Ltd is not currently VAT registered. If a paid service is introduced and VAT applies in future, applicable tax will be presented before you purchase.

Lotwise may introduce paid plans, subscriptions, premium features, usage-based charges or other paid service tiers where lawful. Where a charge applies, the applicable price, billing period, renewal terms, included features and cancellation information will be presented to you before you purchase or subscribe.

If recurring subscriptions are introduced, renewal terms and cancellation information will be disclosed before purchase. Applicable app-store or platform billing requirements may apply. You will not be charged for a paid plan unless you choose to purchase or subscribe.

12. Suspension, termination and account deletion

You may request deletion of your Lotwise account in the app or web account settings where that control is available, or at https://lotwisecollects.com/delete-account. You may also contact scott@lotwisecollects.com.

We may suspend, restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary for serious breaches of these Terms, fraud, security threats, abuse, unlawful activity, or to comply with law. If you later subscribe to a paid service, we may also suspend or restrict access for non-payment of that paid service. Non-payment does not currently apply while Store V1 remains available without a paid subscription.

Where appropriate and lawful, we will provide reasonable notice before suspension or termination.

After termination or deletion, we may retain or delete Customer Content in line with our Privacy Notice and any legal retention requirements.

13. Intellectual property

Lotwise and its licensors retain ownership of the Lotwise software, branding, underlying platform, and proprietary interface, design, and code.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Customer Content to Lotwise.

14. Third-party services

Some Lotwise functionality relies on third-party infrastructure or data providers, including authentication, hosting, email delivery, and catalogue or market-data sources where those lookups are enabled.

We remain responsible for providing the Lotwise service under these Terms, but we do not control third-party services in full and cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of every third-party dependency.

15. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

If you use Lotwise as a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

If you use Lotwise wholly or mainly for business purposes, then subject to the preceding paragraphs Lotwise is not liable for: (a) loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or anticipated savings; (b) indirect or consequential loss; or (c) loss arising from decisions made solely in reliance on catalogue information, informational market guides, estimates, or analytics.

If you use Lotwise wholly or mainly for business purposes, then subject to the non-excludable liabilities above, Lotwise’s aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (i) the fees you paid for the Lotwise service in that period, or (ii) £100, where no fees have been paid.

16. Privacy

How we process personal information is described in the Lotwise Privacy Notice. Please read that notice carefully. These Terms do not replace the Privacy Notice.

17. Changes to Terms

These Terms are version 2026-09-v1, last updated 14 September 2026.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide notice by reasonable means (for example in-product notice or email) and may require renewed acceptance before continued use of the service.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may also bring proceedings in any court that has mandatory jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.
